During this process, our 5-axis machining centers are able to continuously adjust the motion of all five axes without stopping. 3+2-Axis Machining
3+2-Axis Machining utilizes the best technology for your unique application. This process fixes the part in a specific orientation, enabling conventional 3-axis machining. Our 3+2-Axis machining uses shorter, more rigid cutting tools for greater dimensional stability. It produces complex CNC machined parts with tight tolerances at lower cost and cycle times.
A trunnion machining center features a fixed worktable and a spindle that moves and rotates along two axes. This design allows complex parts to be machined from multiple angles in a single setup. Thanks to the stable support of the worktable, it excels in machining heavy or large workpieces, ensuring high efficiency and precision.
Swivel-Rotate-Style machining, also known as a table-on-table configuration, involves securing the workpiece to a table and allowing it to rotate and tilt while the spindle remains in a fixed position. This style is particularly well-suited for complex parts requiring high precision, as it provides excellent access to various part features and enables efficient processing of smaller, more delicate components.
