Aluminum Alloy Overview
Aluminum is one of the most widely used metals in the world, popular for its excellent strength-to-weight ratio, low cost, and recyclability. We offer a variety of aluminum alloys suitable for different application needs.
Common Aluminum Alloys
6061 Aluminum: A versatile and easy-to-machine aluminum alloy, corrosion-resistant, non-magnetic, and heat-treatable. Suitable for a variety of structural and mechanical components.
7075 Aluminum: A high-strength aluminum alloy typically used in high-stress applications. It is corrosion-resistant, non-magnetic, and heat-treatable, making it a robust alternative to 6061 aluminum.
7050 Aluminum: The preferred choice for 7075 aluminum when resistance to high-stress corrosion is required. Suitable for demanding applications such as bulkheads and fuselage frames. Heat-treatable, non-magnetic.
2024 Aluminum: While less strong than 7075 aluminum, 2024 aluminum is typically used in applications requiring a high strength-to-weight ratio. Heat-treatable, non-magnetic.
5052 Aluminum: The easiest aluminum alloy to weld, with excellent resistance to salt spray and brine corrosion. Easy to form, heat-treatable, and non-magnetic.
6063 Aluminum: Compared to 6061 aluminum, 6063 aluminum is more corrosion-resistant and easier to form. While not suitable for high-strength applications, it can be used for exterior railings and decorative edging. Heat-treatable and non-magnetic.
MIC6 Aluminum: Also known as jig plates or casting tools, it is a cast aluminum alloy suitable for tight tolerance applications, favored for its stress-relief treatment. Commonly used in precision machine tool tables and fixtures. MIC6 is non-magnetic and not heat-treatable.
Aluminum alloys are among the most commonly used non-ferrous metal structural materials in industry, widely applied in aerospace, automotive, machinery manufacturing, shipbuilding, and chemical industries. Currently, aluminum alloys are the most widely used alloy type.
Machining aluminum alloy parts using CNC machine tools offers advantages such as high precision, stable machining quality, high production efficiency, and good management. We specialize in high-precision machining of small aluminum CNC parts with feature dimensions as low as 0.5mm, suitable for industries requiring micron-level precision. Utilizing 5-axis micro-milling machines and Swiss-type lathes, we can machine 6061-T6, 7075-T651, and 5083 alloys into complex geometries with tolerances down to ±0.005mm and mirror finishes up to 0.1μm. Our proprietary cryogenic machining process effectively eliminates thermal deformation in thin-walled parts (<0.3mm), enabling us to produce high-precision products typically rejected by standard factories, such as surgical instrument joints, optical alignment brackets, and drone actuator housings.

CNC machining offers significant advantages over manual machining. For example, CNC-machined aluminum alloy parts exhibit extremely high precision and repeatability. CNC machining can produce complex shapes that are impossible to achieve manually. Today, CNC machining technology is widely used, and many machining workshops are equipped with multiple CNC machine tools specifically for the production of small CNC-machined aluminum parts.
CNC machining methods are diverse, including CNC milling, CNC turning, and CNC turning. These technologies provide flexible solutions to meet different machining needs, ensuring high-quality production results.
